A list of the ten most popular online translators along with a brief description can be viewed HERE.
Two of my recommendations are:
Collins Dictionary - Collins is a dictionary publisher. Constantly updated, and with over 4.5 billion words, Collins identifies the new words, phrases, and meanings that spring up every day. Collinsdictionaries.com was launched in 2007, and offers an online dictionary content to include an extensive English thesaurus, and bilingual dictionaries in Spanish, French, Italian, German, Portuguese, Mandarin Chinese and Hindi, as well as a comprehensive grammar section.
Collins doesn’t support as many languages as Google Translate, but it’s one of the best resources for English translations, maybe even better than Google Translate itself. There is also a version for Android and iPhone.
Translator, an online multilingual text and phrase translator that provides translations to 42 languages, produces very good results. It has been extended to all European countries and is a useful tool for many users who can always use it in the language of the given country. Translator.eu can be used without registration, and users can utilize it in both the business and the private sphere free of charge. Very good.
